Carissa started her career in event management over 15 years ago and worked for corporate companies and private clients styling weddings and special occasions.
She loves being creative, making a new centrepiece, receiving an exciting new event theme brief and transforming spaces.
Carissa's planning and creative skills combined help create the perfect event for our clients.
Since founding the business with Michael she's been up for numerous awards including CEO of the year, Business Woman of the Year, Ausmumpreneur creative owner of the year and Roar awards and Local business awards business owner of the year.
Michael brings his years of experience in running his own successful business to Capital Events.

Currently studying architecture, Leon brings a creative eye and an appreciation for thoughtful design to the company. Whether he’s coordinating event prep, assisting with schedules, or supporting the team on-site, he’s dependable, efficient, and always ready to lend a hand.
Outside of work, Leon’s love of the outdoors keeps him active – you’ll often find him playing sports, exploring new places, or planning his next travel adventure.
His friendly nature, quiet strength, and clear communication make him a valued part of our crew – and someone our clients and team love working with.
